The Household of God in Milwaukee was established in October 2015 by a small group. Pastor Olanrewaju Jimoh, a passionate leader, is dedicated to reaching out to his congregation to ensure their well-being.

Our Mission and Vision Statement

Armed with the sword of the Holy Spirit and an intense atmosphere of prayer, we aim to discover and develop the hidden treasures of God embedded within us. Like a shining light, we nurture our potential to shine brighter and achieve greater heights as we fulfill our purpose on earth.

What We Believe

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. Since Christ has commissioned His people, the church, to go into the entire world to disciple, baptize, and teach everyone to obey His Word, we strive, by His grace, to play our part in spreading the Gospel of Christ.

We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men who were divinely inspired and that it is God\u0027s revelation of Himself to humanity. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction, with God as its author, salvation as its end, and truth—without any mixture of error—as its content. Therefore, all Scripture is entirely accurate and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us and is the true center of Christian unity and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be evaluated. All Scripture serves as a testimony to Christ, who is the focus of divine revelation.

We believe that the church is the spiritual body of Jesus Christ, its Founder, Head, and Shepherd, encompassing all true believers across all times and places. The church\u0027s function is to carry out the Lord\u0027s expressed will through the power of the Holy Spirit. One of the central purposes of the church is to preach the Gospel—both in words and through our lives—offering the good news that humanity can find salvation from sin through faith in Jesus Christ. All individuals who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation belong to the church and are, therefore, the people of God. This community of believers consists of people who are neither perfect nor sinless; however, through grace, their lives are increasingly guided by the Holy Spirit, expressing His love, joy, peace, and other Christ-like qualities.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return to this earth personally, bodily, and visibly to establish His glorious reign in a kingdom that will never end. As the sovereign Lord, He will resurrect and judge all of humanity. Those who have accepted His offer of life through the Gospel will enjoy eternal blessings in heaven, while those who have rejected it will face eternal conscious torment in hell.
